How much does a prescription cost?
Each prescription requires a doctor’s fee that covers the availability of the chat feature (whether or not a particular patient utilizes it) and the necessary medical chart review.
There are no automatic refills.
| Fee for 1 prescription: | $150 |
| Fee for 2 prescriptions: | $225 |
| Fee for 3 prescriptions: | $300 |
| Fee for 4 prescriptions: | $375 |
Please note that the doctor’s fees (above) do not cover prior authorizations or the expenses associated with medications or laboratory tests. You will be responsible for paying for any prescribed medicines at your preferred pharmacy and for any lab tests ordered directly from the lab test provider.
Which services are not billed separately?
- Asynchronous text chat without a prescription.
- Unlimited text chat follow-up questions.
Who do I pay for my medications?
You will be responsible for paying for any prescribed medicines at your preferred pharmacy and for any lab tests ordered directly from the lab test provider.
If you have ordered medications through the ePharmacy or have bought a Medkit, we will simply pass on the medication payment to the pharmacy and have them ship the medkit/medications directly to you.
Can I use insurance?
We can complete a superbill for you to submit to a private insurance company (not Medicare or Medicaid) for reimbursement of out-of-network services. Still, we do not bill your insurance company directly.
